Carol Schram: The Canucks kick off preseason after high-paced, competitive training camp After three days of on-ice sessions in Abbotsford, the Vancouver Canucks now get to test themselves against other teams as preseason games return. They'll take on the Seattle Kraken on Sunday in Spokane, then host the Calgary Flames on Monday in Abbotsford.

I've seen those comments, but both have mostly flown under the radar for me. Maybe I've just been more interested in watching other players. Let's see what they do in game action.

Jack Rathbone and Will Lockwood, two great picks by Judd Brackett, I hope Rathbone beats out Juolevi. OJ's lateral movement are just not up to NHL standards. It's too bad Benning fell in love with his game after only one good tournament.

Looking forward to seeing what the Kraken sweaters look like in action, those have got to be one of the best in the entire league!!

Thanks .

Most of the guys doing the reporting from the practices are somewhat homers for lack of a better word , so I can see that.

They just posted canucks lines for tonight. Over half the lineup look to be AHL bound. Will be a tough go for the Canucks tonight I think

Here's our chance to see what Di Giuseppe and Hunt can do in game action!

I like that Travis has Juolevi, Hunt and Rathbone all in the lineup. Apples to apples.

Travelling roster for first NHL preseason test Sunday in Spokane against expansion Seattle. Lines aren't set but they might look like this:

Hoglander-Petan-Boeser
Dries-Stevens-Lockwood
Di Giuseppi-Richardinson-Klimovich
Arseneau-Highmore-Plasek/Rempal
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Looks like they have Lockwood on a Abbottsford line and Klimovich on a NHL line

Green's just making it easier for Lockwood to standout more, with lesser competition. Klim will have to prove that he belongs with Dickinson and his two-way game is NHL level. Someone reported he's super skilled but not much structure to his game.

That was a report from Day one. Carol said there is a difference from day 1 to day 3 .

I seen some of his play from yesterday . He looks very good . I am not saying he will make Abby's team but it looks like they are looking to see where he fits.

That's the same line Lockwood has been skating with through camp.

Di Giuseppe and Dickinson have also been together, mostly with Alex Chiasson.

In a sense, yes...if Klim can put up 50 points as a rookie I'm sure they'll look past his defensive inabilities. Like most teams to do highly gifted offensive players.

Ok thanks...obviously I haven't been able to watch or see what's going on but at this point, having been through this, everything's a test, everything. There's no randomness to what they're doing, the coaching staff wants to see what you're capable of with certain players and in certain situations.

Highmore can't be happy that he is playing with a Jr player and an AHL player , but I am .

I have mentioned several times over the past couple seasons, how I didn't like the make-up of this team.
Now that is changing, as they got rid of Gaudette, Schmidt the gang to Arizona, and the 2 holdouts.
I can honestly say, I am really liking the makeup of this team now.

Only care about the players who are signed and I agree that the roster looks really promising right now, only Vegas really stands out as a potentially better team inside the division.
